NeighborHook ("we," "us," "our") is operated by AzulaFiteCo. LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the NeighborHook mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google / Apple: Name and email when you sign in with Google or Apple
• Stripe: Payment confirmation status (we do not store full card numbers)
• Mapping Services: Geocoding data to convert addresses to coordinates

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide Services: Match you with nearby towing and roadside assistance providers, process payments, facilitate job lifecycle tracking
• Safety & Fraud Prevention: Verify provider credentials, detect fraudulent activity, verify route accuracy through GPS data, resolve disputes using evidence photos
• Communication: Send push notifications about job status (provider accepted, en route, arrived, complete), account alerts, and service updates
• Improve the Platform: Analyze usage patterns, optimize dispatch algorithms, improve ETA predictions, enhance pricing accuracy
• Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, enforce our Terms of Service
• Provider Quality: Calculate provider quality scores based on completion rates, response times, and customer ratings to ensure service quality

3. How We Share Your Information

4. Data Retention

• Active Account Data: Retained while your account is active
• Job Records: Retained for 3 years after completion for dispute resolution, legal compliance, and financial records
• GPS Breadcrumbs: Retained for 90 days after job completion, then aggregated and anonymized
• Evidence Photos: Retained for 1 year after job completion
• Provider Documents: Retained while provider account is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure
• Payment Records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years)
• Deleted Accounts: Personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion request. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Row Level Security (RLS) policies on all database tables ensuring users can only access their own data
• Secure API key management with regular rotation
• Two-factor authentication on all administrative accounts
• Provider document storage in private, access-controlled storage buckets
• JWT-based authentication for all API requests

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 All Users

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data by emailing support@neighborhook.com
• Correction: Update your profile information within the app
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data through the app (You Screen → Privacy & Support → Delete My Account) or by emailing us
• Notifications: Manage push notification preferences through your device settings
• Location: Revoke location permissions through your device settings (note: the app requires location to function)

6.2 California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

6.3 European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Contact us at support@neighborhook.com.

7. Children's Privacy

NeighborHook is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Stripe payment pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the app and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
